Toddler & Preschool Programs

Daily Rate = $41 per day

Transition Days:

Each family enrolling a child in the toddler or preschool program at Sherwood Park Preschool for the first time can take advantage of up to five transition days to help their child’s adjustment to their new environment and caregivers.

Teachers and parents can agree on the number of days based on the child and family needs using the following guideline:

Transition day with parent (one day only) - no charge - parent must be present with the child the entire time they are at the preschool.This is important for young children to have an opportunity to explore the new environment with their parent close by which reassures them that this is a safe place. We suggest doing this during one of the group play times, and maybe including snack.

Transition day - morning only (1-2 days) - $25.00 per day - parent not present, child stays up to 4 hours but must be picked up by 11:00 (toddlers) / 11:30 (preschoolers)

Transition day with lunch (1-2 days) - $30.00 per day - parent not present, child stays up to 6 hours but must be picked up by 2:30 - this gives the child a chance to experience lunch and nap time at the preschool while slowly working up to longer periods away from their family

LATE payment FEES

Childcare fees are due on the first day of each month. If payments have not been received by the 10th day of the month, a $50 late fee will be applied to the balance. An additional $25 late fee will be applied every 5 days thereafter. Exceptions will always be granted for families who communicate, in writing, the need to pay on an alternate day of the month.
